Head Pastor
Steve Dennis
Meet Pastor Steve Dennis, the high-energy leader bringing fresh joy and a big heart to this exciting new launch of our church family.
His ministry journey began in 2005, leading him to become a pastor in 2008 and receive his ordination in 2009 when he transitioned into full-time ministry. Over the years, he has worn just about every hat imaginable, serving as a men’s pastor, discipleship pastor, life group pastor, associate pastor, executive pastor, head pastor, church planter, and outreach ministry director. Through it all, he carries a deep desire for teaching the Word of God, helping people, and equipping them to discover their true calling for the Kingdom through discipleship and mentoring.
At home, he is happily married to Gretchen, and they have three children: Eli, Isabella, and Jesiah. You will often find him staying very active in all of their sports and activities. When he is not at the pulpit or cheering on his kids, he loves spending time outdoors, staying physically active, and welcoming everyone he meets with open arms. He cannot wait to see you this Sunday.

Gretchen Dennis
She is honored to lead the Cornerstone Kids ministry. As a pastor's wife and a mom of three, she understands the importance of creating an environment where children not only learn about Jesus, but truly feel a part of the church family. Since coming to faith in 2005, she has been actively involved in children's ministry. Her leadership style is built on the same intentionality she brings to her home; whether she is homeschooling her own children or planning Sunday lessons, her goal is to provide clarity, accuracy, and a welcoming environment for every child while teaching God’s Word. She believes in hands-on, engaging teaching that helps kids understand their need for a Savior while growing in their own relationship with Him. When she is not at church, you’ll likely find her reading or spending quality time with her family.

Kids Ministry Leader
Ashley Catto
She has the joy of being a mom to three children, Abigail, Gabriel, and Noah - who is now home with Jesus. Originally from Canada, Ashley and her family moved to Texas in 2022.
Ashley grew up in the church, but it wasn’t until 2014 that the Lord transformed her heart. She has been in kids ministry since 2016. Ashley is passionate about teaching God’s Word in a way that is faithful to Scripture, engaging, and meaningful for every child. Her desire is to create a safe, fun, and Christ-centered environment where kids not only learn about God, but are discipled to grow in a genuine, lifelong relationship with Him.
When she is not at church, she loves to spend time with her family. She loves to do puzzles and travel. Her favourite verse is Psalm 23.
